A country picker wheel is a random country generator presented as an interactive spinning wheel. Every spin selects a country at random from your chosen pool — all 197 countries, a single continent, or a hand-picked custom list. Each country has equal probability of being selected, so no country is favoured or suppressed.
Beyond the country name, every result also shows the national flag, capital city, continent, region, and currency — making it useful for quick reference as well as random selection. It works instantly in any modern browser with no download or account required.
The six continent filters restrict the wheel to a specific region: Africa (54 countries), Asia (50), Europe (44), North America (23, including the Caribbean and Central America), South America (12), and Oceania (14). Switching modes is instant — click a button and the wheel redraws immediately with the new country count shown below it.
Custom mode gives you a searchable checklist of all 197 countries. Tick the ones you want, hit Apply, and the wheel updates instantly. Use "All" to select everything or "None" to start fresh — handy for building a wheel of a specific group of countries, such as a trading bloc or your own travel shortlist.
Before each spin, the tool generates a random target rotation using
Math.random(), then animates the wheel toward that angle
with an easing curve that decelerates naturally. The country under the
pointer when the animation ends is the result. Because the target
angle is set before the spin starts and every country occupies an
equal arc, every country has an identical mathematical chance of being
selected — there is no weighting.
Turning on Remove After Pick in Settings removes each result from the wheel once picked, so spins won't repeat until the entire pool has been used. This is useful for assigning unique countries to a group, or for running an elimination-style geography activity. The wheel resets automatically once every country in the pool has been picked.

Yes — completely free, with no signup, premium tier, or hidden costs.
The wheel generates a random rotation angle with JavaScript's Math.random() before each spin, then animates toward it with a natural deceleration curve. Every country in the active pool has an equal chance of landing under the pointer.
Yes — teachers commonly use continent filters to match the region being studied, and Remove After Pick to give each student a different country for research or map work.
In World mode, each of the 197 countries has roughly a 1-in-197 (about 0.51%) chance per spin. In a continent mode, it's 1 divided by that continent's country count.
197 countries are waiting. Spin the wheel and see where you land.
